This program use a family centered training approach; as parents are typically with their children for more hours each day than any teacher or therapist, they are often in the best position to provide their children with intervention. Teaching these skills to parents also allows the intervention to be more affordable as it reduces costs from outside services. During this program, parents learn how to implement skill acquisition programming using reinforcement and prompting effectively to develop their children’s skills. Parents also learn how to systematically decrease any problem behaviors that may be interfering with their children’s ability to reach their full potential. How do I find out about the waiver for Medicaid? My son is close to being transferred to all kids. I don’t believe all kids covers any aba services. Currently he has health alliance connect. He needs aba services to function in school better.
